Welcome

Welcome readers, My name is Matthew Ulczynski and this is my blog. Here I will be posting weekly updates on my research as a UNCC writing student. Interested? Feel free to follow along as I publish my findings throughout the semester. As a college student I plan to get a degree and hopefully turn it into a successful professional world. I am currently majoring in Computer Engineering. I was drawn to this disipline by my interest in computer hardware and software. Back at home I was the "IT" guy that solved the technical issues brought on by computers. The most tedious project I ever worked on related to computers was when repaired my brother's laptop when he broke his hard drive. Aside from computers I enjoy spending my free time playing golf or ulitmate frisbee, but enough about me.

The purpose of this blog is to provide information on a issue related to "the media". While this is a sort of class project, the motives and interests behind what ever issue I choose to stick with are real. The blog, in its final form, should be a complete compliation of my research creating a new argument on the issue that starts new converstations on the issue. In the end I hope to have obtained abetter knowledge of an interesting topic, solidified my research skills, and futher developed my writing ablitites. Also I have never particpated in the blogging culture so maybe I will find a new interest in blogging. Thanks for checking in and stay tuned for a new blog next week.
